Producer: Nadir Metal Rafineri
Nadir Metal Rafineri traces its roots to a precious metals recovery workshop set up in Istanbul in 1967; the current company dates from 1993. According to the company history it became the first refinery in Turkey accredited by the LBMA for gold Good Delivery in 2011, followed by silver in 2012.
Card, certificate and markings
The obverse carries the round Nadir logo, the weight and the fineness; the reverse has a pattern of large letters from the refinery name. The card bears the Assayer Nadir mark, a QR code and a barcode. The producer notes that the certificate values apply only to an unopened package.
The photos show two packaging versions: an older one marked 999 Fine Silver with a 999.0 bar, and the current one marked Fineness 999.9. The version delivered depends on the batch.
What to consider
At 10 g, minting, the card and handling are spread over very little metal, so the premium per gram is much higher than on a 100 g or 1 kg bar. This size is chosen for a low entry point and selling in small units, not for the lowest price per gram. The current metal value is on the silver price page.

FAQ
What is the fineness of the Nadir 10 g silver bar?
According to the supplier specification 999.9, which the current card also states (Fineness 999.9). The earlier packaging marked 999 Fine Silver held a bar of 999.0. The version delivered depends on the batch.
Can I open the card?
You can, but the producer states on the card that the certificate values apply to an unopened package. An opened bar may need extra checking when you sell it.
How does it differ from the Valcambi 10 x 10 g CombiBar?
This is a single 10 g bar in its own card. The CombiBar weighs 100 g in total and consists of ten separable 10 g segments.
What VAT applies?
Silver is charged at the standard Polish rate of 23 per cent. The exemption under Article 122 of the Polish VAT Act applies only to gold bullion.
